Zu den allgemeinen Änderungen zählt die Aktivierung der „Connection Black Flag“ für gehostete Sitzungen. Dies ermöglicht eine automatische Rückkehr in die Boxen für Teilnehmer, die mit intermittierenden und instabilen Serverproblemen konfrontiert sind. Zudem wurde ein Problem behoben, das bei KI-Fahrern auftrat, wenn sie sich über längere Zeit auf Schotter oder im Schlamm befanden.
Die Regeln für die Fahrzeughöhe wurden ebenfalls angepasst, sodass sie nun für jeden verfügbaren Reifentyp spezifisch sind. Dies betrifft die GTP- und TCR-Klassen, den BMW M2 CSR, den Mazda MX-5 Cup, den Renault Clio R.S V, die Super Formula Lights sowie den Toyota GR86. Darüber hinaus wurde bei den Tourenwagen ein Problem behoben, bei dem die Fahrzeuge an der Startlinie rollten. Bei dem Audi RS3 LMS TCR wurde die Handbremse so verändert, dass sie nun zur Steuerung der vorderen Bremsen verwendet werden kann, was die Nutzung bei stehenden Starts erleichtert.
Diese Änderungen erscheinen nachvollziehbar; persönlich hatte ich einige Schwierigkeiten beim Wechsel der Einstellungen und verstehe, weshalb es bei den Rennen der Production Car Challenge, am Beispiel des Clio, zu Problemen kam. Es bleibt zu hoffen, dass das Tuning für jede Art von Bedingungen künftig einfacher vonstattengeht, ohne dass es zu Schwierigkeiten kommt oder Teilnehmer Setups austauschen, um die Regeln zur Fahrhöhe zu umgehen.
Zudem wurden kleinere grafische Fehler auf verschiedenen Strecken behoben, und auf einer größeren Anzahl von Ovalen sind nun Nachtrennen möglich.

Paint Kit

AI Racing
- Fixed an issue where AI Drivers could go brain-dead if they remained on gravel or mud surfaces for too long. It was a very traumatic experience for the AI community.
Connectivity
- The Connection Black Flag rule may now be enabled in Hosted Sessions!
- When enabled, the Connection Black Flag rule functions exactly as it does for Official Sessions in the Hosted Session. Drivers with intermittent and unstable connections to the race server may receive a black flag, and be sent to pits until their connection improves.
Graphics
- Fixed an issue with popping visual artifacts where some 3D curbs were being rendered with a lower level-of-detail resolution than they should have been based on camera distance. This was especially noticeable at The Bend.
