Development work has continued, however, and it has now been confirmed that the new cars will be released in August. The lineup includes the Ford Mustang GT3, the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo, the Lamborghini Temerario GT3 and the Porsche “evo” 911 GT3 R 2026.
The latter is only a minor revision compared to the existing model, while the other three cars are entirely new developments by the KW Studios team. The Vantage will be the first Aston Martin model to be available in RaceRoom, while the Temerario is expected to be the first GT3 race car of its kind to be available in sim racing.
All four models will be offered individually or as part of an official DTM package for the 2026 season. This package includes realistic liveries for both the new models and the rest of the cars on the starting grid.
Nicki Thiim currently leads the DTM standings in the Vantage after recently claiming two wins at the Norisring.
Recently, he was seen testing the virtual replica of his car on the RaceRoom simulators at the same event, which are touring alongside the championship. He took part in the “Race the Pro” event, and RaceRoom subsequently confirmed on Instagram that his current car model was used.
