Codemasters hat heute das nächste Update für F1 2021 veröffentlicht. Spieler dürfen sich unter anderem auf Imola freuen. Die italienische Rennstrecke gehört zu den Rückkehrern in den F1-Kalender, hat es zum Release der Simulation aber noch nicht ins Spiel geschafft. Schon im letzten Monat durften Fans Portimao als Update in F1 2021 hinzufügen. Imola steht ab sofort in allen Spielmodi zur Verfügung. Befindet ihr euch in einer laufenden Saison eurer Karriere, könnt ihr den Kurs in der nächsten Saison wählen.
Eine weitere Strecke möchte Codemasters noch in die Rennsimulation bringen. Dabei handelt es sich um den brandneuen Jeddah Circuit in Saudi-Arabien. Die Veröffentlichung ist derzeit für November geplant. Zu den weiteren Highlights des heutigen Updates gehören Anpassungen der Fahrzeug-Lackierungen. Nahezu alle Rennställe haben neue Sponsoren auf ihre F1-Boliden gepackt. Diese Änderungen sind nun auch im Spiel zu sehen. Darüber hinaus hat Codemasters die weiße Lackierung von Red Bull Racing vom letzten Rennwochenende hinzugefügt. Damit hat sich das Team bei Honda bedankt, die am Ende der Saison als Motorenhersteller aussteigen werden. Für kurze Zeit wird die neue Lackierung den normalen Look von Red Bull ersetzen.
Darüber hinaus haben die Entwickler einen Timer für Multiplayer-Lobbys eingeführt, der Spieler automatisch aus dem Raum wirft, wenn sie zu lange im Ladebildschirm hängen.
