EA Sports WRC | Update v2.1.5 bringt native Moza-Wheel-Unterstützung für PC und Xbox

Bemerkenswerterweise wurde die Hardware der chinesischen Marke trotz ihrer zunehmenden Präsenz und Beliebtheit in der Welt der Rennsimulationen bislang nicht offiziell im Spiel unterstützt. Es war dennoch möglich, EA SPORTS WRC mit Moza-Hardware zu spielen, jedoch ohne eine automatisch zugeordnete Tastenbelegung.

Derzeit bietet Moza keine Unterstützung für PlayStation-Konsolen, hat sich jedoch kürzlich mit Microsoft zusammengeschlossen, um das Xbox-kompatible R3 Direct Drive Wheelbase Bundle zu entwickeln, das sowohl auf Xbox One und Xbox Series Konsolen als auch auf dem PC genutzt werden kann. Das v2.1.5-Update von EA SPORTS WRC behebt zudem kleinere Fehler im Zusammenhang mit dem neuen "WRC 24 Locations & Cars Content Pack", welches zwei neue Umgebungen in Polen und Lettland sowie die WRC-Fahrzeuge 2024 Rally1, den Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 und den Ford Fiesta Rally3 Evo hinzufügt.

Ein spezifisches Problem betraf den Yaris, bei dem Spieler die Farbe der Lackvorlagen im Livery-Editor des Spiels nicht ändern konnten. Dieser Fehler wurde nun behoben. Zudem wurden einige Rallye-Polen-Strecken durch Verbesserungen an den zuvor unsichtbaren Hitboxen von Streckenobjekten optimiert.
