F1 24 | Codemasters veröffentlichte das finale Update v1.18

Nach dem jüngsten Eintritt in EA Play und GamePass sowie der bevorstehenden Ankündigung einer Fortsetzung wurde das letzte Update für die EA Sports F1 24-Saison, Version 1.18, veröffentlicht.

Die sechste Saison beginnt am 5. März um 10 Uhr und stellt die letzte speziell angefertigte Sammlung von Inhalten und Veranstaltungen dar, die von Codemasters für F1 24 entwickelt wurde. Nach einem Zeitraum von acht Wochen wird die Saison enden, und die zuvor angebotenen Inhalte werden wieder in den Rotationsmodus zurückkehren.

Es ist sehr wahrscheinlich, dass in naher Zukunft eine Ankündigung zu F1 25 erfolgen wird, insbesondere im Hinblick darauf, dass die reale Formel-1-Saison bald beginnt und das 75-jährige Jubiläum der Meisterschaft gefeiert wird. Die Zukunft der Spielereihe steht zur Diskussion, da die Lizenzvereinbarungen in diesem Jahr auslaufen und um weitere zwei Jahre verlängert werden sollen, sofern bestimmte Leistungsziele erreicht werden. Zudem wurde die F1-Manager-Serie vor dem Ablauf des Lizenzzeitraums eingestellt.
