An update for the RX Vision Gr.3 in Gran Turismo 7 was confirmed during the World Series.

The Mazda RX-Vision concept race car has been revised after more than 400,000 players had already driven the previous model virtually.

The race car, which is equipped with a rotary engine, is used in the Gr.3 class of Gran Turismo 7 and is part of the "Manufacturers Cup World Series". It will now receive an updated version.

During the second round of the series, the first teaser images were published. They show a significantly more aggressively designed aerodynamic package.

The visible changes include a larger front splitter, new LED lights in the lower section of the front bumper, enlarged side skirts, as well as a significantly larger rear diffuser and rear wing.

The vehicle is called the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Evo and is currently only being announced with the note "available soon".

The designation "Evo" is typically used for real GT3 models that have received a performance increase or technical development compared with their predecessors. In Mazda's case, however, this is a fictional development for the Gran Turismo games, as the Japanese automaker does not field a corresponding model in real-world motorsport.

Only recently, the current Porsche 911 GT3 and Ferrari 296 GT3 models were added to the game without their "Evo" upgrades. Since these updates involve only minor changes, however, they can unofficially be added by purchasing new parts at GT Auto.
