The release follows several announcements made over the past few days. These include new DTM cars, a completely revamped HUD, extensive improvements to the multiplayer mode, and updates to the Monza and Nürburgring-Nordschleife circuits.
Four New GT3 Cars
A new DLC package for the 2026 DTM season will make the current season liveries and all cars from the season, with the exception of the Ferrari 296, available. The package includes the following four new cars:
- Aston Martin GT3 Evo
- Ford Mustang GT3 Evo
- Lamborghini Temerario GT3
- Porsche 911 GT3 R (2026 Update)
The Ford Mustang will therefore be available in RaceRoom for the first time and will appear in its current Evo specification. Aston Martin is also making its platform debut with the GT3 Evo. The Lamborghini Temerario, meanwhile, will make its first sim racing appearance in the title developed by KW Studios.
The DTM 2026 package, which includes the four cars and their respective liveries, will be available for €29.99.
Revamped HUD
The on-screen displays during races have been fundamentally redesigned and now follow modern design concepts more closely, as already used in the multiplayer user interface. Position displays, timing information, and track maps are intended to be presented more clearly in the future. In addition, the entire display can be customized individually.
The MFD has also been revised. It will now provide tire information, a leaderboard tailored to the respective session, timing data, a complete instrument cluster, a status bar for penalties and messages, and a separate log for chat and system messages.
Expanded Multiplayer Grids
RaceRoom has hinted at further changes for the online multiplayer mode with dedicated servers. However, the upcoming update will already implement technical optimizations that support grids with at least 50 participants. This represents a significant increase over the previous limit of 38 drivers.
Updated Nürburgring-Nordschleife and Monza
Monza is receiving a revised track surface. According to RaceRoom, this will allow the circuit to reflect its current real-world condition, including worn markings, rubber-covered curbs, and the characteristic appearance of a heavily used racetrack.
The position and size of individual HUD elements can be adjusted individually. In addition, certain areas can be shown or hidden as needed.
The revisions to the Nürburgring-Nordschleife are more extensive and are based on the real-world changes made at the beginning of the year. These include a redesigned parking area, additional buildings and charging stations for electric vehicles, revised curbs at Hatzenbach and Brünnchen, and a changed chicane layout at Hohenrain. The track surface has also been updated, including a selection of new graffiti.
