- The Nürburgring Nordschleife and Monza will be updated for 2026 to reflect the latest changes made to the real-world circuits.
- The adjustments will be introduced with the summer update. Further information is expected to follow at a later date.
RaceRoom has announced plans to modernize the virtual versions of the Nürburgring Nordschleife and Monza. The planned graphical adjustments are intended to be part of the racing simulation's summer update.
As in previous years, the Nordschleife was revised in several areas before the start of the 2026 season. This includes renewed track surfaces, adjustments to curbs, and the installation of new fences. These measures have changed the appearance of the traditional racing circuit in the Eifel in individual sections.
The affected areas include Hatzenbach, Hohenrain, and Eiskurve. In addition, new buildings and further additions are being implemented in the parking areas of the “Tourist” layout. However, these elements are not expected to appear until after the “Nordschleife 2026” update for Assetto Corsa EVO, which was released in April.
Monza will also receive a graphical upgrade in RaceRoom. According to developer KW Studios, the curbs will feature realistic rubber marks, giving the circuit a more authentic and heavily used appearance.
The circuit updates are planned for the summer update. Further details, including a specific release date, are to be presented in the edition of “RaceRoom Grid Talk” announced for July 30. Additional announcements regarding further content are expected.
The free-to-play racing simulation recently also announced the “DTM 2026 Car Pack”. It includes all vehicles from the current DTM season, including four new models: the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo, the Ford Mustang GT3 Evo, the Lamborghini Temerario, and the updated Porsche 911 GT3 R 992.2.
The “DTM 2026 Car Pack” is scheduled for release in August. However, due to the expired licensing agreement between RaceRoom and the manufacturer from Maranello, the pack will not contain any Ferrari vehicles.
