On this date, five new vehicles will be added to Gran Turismo 7 at no additional cost, four of which are designed as full-fledged race cars.
Polyphony Digital's sim racing game was among the first titles to add an LMH race car to its vehicle lineup with the Toyota GR010, taking on a pioneering role in the process.
Since its release, however, the title has fallen behind other current platforms. This is expected to change with the upcoming update next month.
The Porsche 963 LMDh, the BMW M Hybrid V8 LMDh, the Ferrari 499P LMH, and the Peugeot 9X8 LMH, which were already presented at the Gran Turismo World Series event in Milan, Italy, will be added to the Gran Turismo 7 vehicle selection.
All four vehicles have competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Although Porsche has withdrawn from the series, it continues to race the 963 in IMSA events. The Ferrari also won the 24 Hours of Le Mans three times in a row from 2023 to 2025.
The lineup will be rounded out by a Porsche 911 Safety Car equipped with roof lights and a special livery. It is the first Safety Car in a Gran Turismo title since the models curated by Polyphony that were first introduced in Gran Turismo Sport. Its technical basis is the 992-generation Turbo S.
