- Das PMR-Update v2.1 passt das Fahrverhalten der Klassen GT3, GT4 und Aus V8 an.
- Zudem wurde die Unterstützung für Dreifach-Bildschirme in einer frühen Alpha-Phase implementiert.
Für Project Motor Racing ist ein neues Update erschienen, das insbesondere das Fahrverhalten der GT3- und GT4-Kategorien umfassend überarbeitet.
Mit Version 2.1 erhalten Nutzer von Dreifach-Bildschirm-Setups erstmals die Möglichkeit, diese Konfiguration im Spiel zu verwenden. Die entsprechende Unterstützung befindet sich derzeit noch in einer frühen Alpha-Phase.
Überarbeitung von GT3, GT4 und Aus V8
Die Anpassungen am Fahrverhalten für die GT3- und GT4-Klassen wurden wahrscheinlich von Aristotelis Vasilakos vorgenommen, der vor kurzem zum Entwickler Straight4 Studios gestoßen ist.
Vasilakos gilt als renommierte Persönlichkeit der Sim-Racing-Szene. Er war unter anderem wesentlich an der Entwicklung der Physik und des Fahrverhaltens von Assetto Corsa sowie Assetto Corsa Competizione beteiligt. Seine Expertise soll dazu beitragen, das bislang teilweise uneinheitliche Fahrverhalten der Fahrzeuge in PMR zu verbessern. Das kürzlich veröffentlichte GT Icons Pack lieferte bereits einen ersten Eindruck seines möglichen Einflusses.
Für die GT3- und GT4-Klassen wurde die Balance of Performance vollständig überarbeitet. Dabei wurden unter anderem Fahrwerk, Aerodynamik, Turbomodelle, Reifen, Bremskanäle, Differentiale und Übersetzungsverhältnisse berücksichtigt.
Darüber hinaus hat Straight4 den kostenlosen DLC Aussie Rivals Pack veröffentlicht. Dieser umfasst eine umfangreich überarbeitete Version des bekannten Ford Falcon FG sowie den neuen Holden Commodore VF. Weitere Informationen dazu finden sich hier.
Auch die neue Aus-V8-Klasse wurde entsprechend angepasst. Auf Grundlage realer Daten wurden insbesondere die Aerodynamik- und Reifenmodelle der einzelnen Fahrzeuge realistischer ausgearbeitet.
Unterstützung für drei Bildschirme und Verbesserungen im VR-Bereich
Nachdem die VR-Unterstützung in PMR kürzlich in die Alpha-Testphase überführt wurde, folgt nun die Integration der Dreifach-Bildschirm-Unterstützung.
Obwohl sich diese Funktionen weiterhin in einer frühen Entwicklungsphase befinden, stehen im Spiel bereits verschiedene Optionen zur Konfiguration der jeweiligen Einstellungen zur Verfügung. Gleichzeitig wurde das Nutzungserlebnis mit VR-Headsets weiter optimiert. Zusätzliche Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten erlauben es Spielern zudem, ihr individuelles Spielerlebnis weiter anzupassen.
