Der erste größere Patch für das v1.4-Update von Le Mans Ultimate ist erschienen. Im Rahmen der Aktualisierung hat Motorsport Games unter anderem einen schwerwiegenden Fehler bei Boxenstopps behoben.
Berichten zufolge war dieses Problem vor der Veröffentlichung von Version 1.4 nicht aufgetreten. Sowohl KI-gesteuerte als auch von Spielern kontrollierte Fahrzeuge konnten in ihren Boxenplätzen durch benachbarte Fahrzeuge blockiert werden. Dadurch waren mitunter drei, fünf oder sogar sieben Wendemanöver erforderlich, um die Box wieder verlassen zu können. Besonders deutlich zeigte sich der Fehler im wettbewerbsorientierten Online-Betrieb, wo er erhebliche Verunsicherung verursachte.
Darüber hinaus meldeten zahlreiche Nutzer weitere Fehler im Online-Modus, darunter Schwierigkeiten bei Boxenstopps sowie Probleme mit dem Netzcode. Dies hat Motorsport Games offenbar dazu veranlasst, die bevorstehende Acht-Stunden-Sonderveranstaltung auf dem Daytona International Speedway um zwei Wochen auf den 25. August zu verschieben.
Patch v1.4.1.0 enthält außerdem verschiedene Anpassungen an Daytona und Laguna Seca, den neuesten Strecken aus dem US-Track-Pass-DLC. Insbesondere die GTE-Balance of Performance für Daytona wurde umfassend überarbeitet. Darüber hinaus wurden die Streckenbegrenzungen und Randbereiche von Laguna Seca optimiert. Auf den staubigen Auslaufzonen wurde die Bodenhaftung leicht erhöht.
