- Long Beach and Road Atlanta make up the “US Track Pack 2” DLC for Le Mans Ultimate.
- It will be released on September 22 together with a game update.
- New liveries from the 2026 ELMS and Le Mans seasons will be added for free.
The contents of the second “US Track Pack” for Le Mans Ultimate have now been announced: Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and the Long Beach street circuit will be added to the game.
“US Track Pack 2” will be released on September 22 priced at 19.99 euros. A limited-time discount of 10 percent will initially be available at launch. Owners of the complete “US Track Pass” and RaceControl Pro+ subscribers will receive the new content immediately.
In addition, an accompanying game update will be released.
Long Beach
Long Beach was originally conceived as an American version of the Monaco Grand Prix – featuring comparable coastal panoramas and equally demanding conditions for cars and drivers.
The circuit, which opened in 1975, hosted the Formula 1 “United States Grand Prix West” from 1976 to 1983. Today, it is particularly known for its long-standing connection to the IndyCar Series.
IMSA, in which GTP cars – consisting of LMH and LMDh models – as well as GTDs and LMGT3 cars compete, has been a permanent part of the Californian racing calendar since 2021. However, the racing series has been visiting the venue at irregular intervals since 1990.
With its imposing concrete walls, numerous severe bumps and high temperatures, the circuit is considered one of the most demanding on the IndyCar and IMSA calendars. At the same time, it will be the first genuine street circuit to feature in Le Mans Ultimate.
Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta
Road Atlanta hosts the famous ten-hour endurance race “Petit Le Mans”, which will take place on October 3 this year.
Located in the US state of Georgia, Road Atlanta is regarded as an old-school circuit. Banked corners, high speeds and virtually no margin for error make the track equally popular with real and virtual racers.
Overtaking opportunities are comparatively rare with modern sports cars. However, the long back straight and the braking zone that follows provide good conditions for overtaking maneuvers. Combined with several vehicle classes, this creates an ideal basis for exciting duels.
The implementation of Road Atlanta in Le Mans Ultimate is particularly noteworthy because it is the only US circuit that was not already included in Motorsport Games’ previous title, rFactor 2.
To mark the release, a ten-hour LMU special event will take place on this circuit during the week starting October 6.
Liveries for ELMS and Le Mans 2026
The accompanying game update v1.4.2 will be released alongside the DLC. It adds free liveries from the 2026 European Le Mans Series, which can be used for the championship’s LMGT3, LMP2 and LMP3 cars.
In addition, the liveries of the LMGT3 and LMP2 cars from this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans will be included. This expands the existing selection of Hypercar liveries introduced with version 1.4.
Bug fixes and preview of the RaceControl website
Although this update does not represent the fundamental change usually expected from a larger version jump, Le Mans Ultimate operator Motorsport Games nevertheless described version 1.4.2 as a “major update”.
Specific details about the backend changes scheduled for implementation next week are not yet available. However, they are expected to focus, among other things, on the ongoing stability issues in multiplayer mode that are affecting numerous players.
Motorsport Games has already released several patches to address the recent netcode issues. Public test events are also planned to counter problems that have arisen since the update to version 1.4 and the switch from the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) to the Reliable-UDP system (RUDP).
In addition, a preview of the new RaceControl website was presented. It is intended to significantly simplify navigation and registration for official LMU races. The release is expected to take place in time for version 1.5, scheduled for the end of the year.
The future
According to Motorsport Games, the single-player experience of Le Mans Ultimate remains a priority for the company. However, no concrete progress in this area is expected in next week’s update. At the same time, the company stated that it wanted to “provide the community with an update before the next release”.
The third installment of the US Track Pass DLC is still scheduled to be released before the end of the year. No further information was provided about the planned versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
