Le Mans Ultimate is currently enjoying great popularity and reached a new peak in concurrent player numbers with the release of the latest content for the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) and Genesis.
The March release also marked the completion of the current downloadable content plan, meaning that the ELMS vehicle and circuit offering is now complete.
In the accompanying video about these updates, Stephen Hood, CEO of Motorsport Games (the operator of Le Mans Ultimate), said: “I want to assure you that the rest of 2026 already looks extremely promising in terms of new cars and circuits.”
“We expect to update you in Le Mans in June about our next Season Pass plans.”
Although it will be about another month before this content is officially unveiled, initial hints were already given during a recent earnings presentation by Motorsport Games. These point to additional circuit DLCs outside Europe.
“We do indeed have new content packs planned for this year, which probably shouldn’t surprise anyone,” Hood said during the conference call.
“Every time we expand the offering around the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the FIA World Endurance Championship – an already rather unique product – with additional cars and circuits, this content receives a great response.”
“We have developed an idea and a concept for new circuit content that we would like to use to open up additional markets. We have found that we are particularly well positioned in Europe, which is not surprising given Le Mans’ history and geographical location, and we have benefited greatly from this so far.
However, to establish this game more strongly internationally, we are now looking for complementary content that also appeals to people who are not primarily interested in the Le Mans concept or European content.
We will have more to announce on this in the future, and I’m already very much looking forward to it.”
Le Mans Ultimate currently includes all circuits from the real-world 2023 WEC calendar as base content. Optional DLCs add the venues from the 2024 season (which remain unchanged in 2025 and 2026) as well as the ELMS circuits.
It is noteworthy in this context that, although several European venues are represented, the Asian Le Mans Series is currently missing, while only two circuits – Circuit of the Americas and Sebring – are available in the United States.
In the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, Motorsport Games recorded revenue growth of 129% year over year to $4 million, as well as a net profit of $1 million. In addition, the company completed a share buyback program with its original investor Driven Lifestyle.
