Nacon Racing has published the third episode of its online showcase series "News From The Pits", presenting new information about its Revosim hardware sub-brand.
Originally developed for PC, Revosim is now expanding its product range with solutions for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The French brand presented the new entry-level RS Lite and mid-range RS Initiale wheelbases.
Nacon plans to release all three console-compatible steering wheel bundles – the RS Lite, the RS Initiale and the flagship RS Pure – before Christmas, most likely in November. Further information, including pricing, can be found below.
Price and release date of the Revosim RS Lite for consoles
The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the RS Lite are scheduled to launch in November 2026 at a price of €279.90.
The RS Lite is a direct-drive wheelbase with 3.2 Nm of torque. The package includes two pedals for brake and throttle, a phone holder, 17 buttons, two paddle shifters and a table clamp. The pedal set also comes with non-slip pads for laminate flooring and carpet mounts. In addition, the preload of the pedal springs can be adjusted.
The steering wheel has a diameter of 280 mm. Thanks to Bluetooth compatibility, it can be connected to the Revosim app to display telemetry-based live data on the dashboard.
The RS Lite also supports a separate accessory: the RS Lite Expander. This increases the number of RJ45 ports on the rear of the wheelbase chassis from one to three. This allows Revosim shifters and handbrakes such as the RS Pure Hybrid Shifter and the RS Pure Load Cell Handbrake to be connected.
Both versions of the RS Lite wheelbase chassis, for PS5 and Xbox, will also be compatible with PC. This puts Nacon in direct competition with providers such as Logitech, Moza, Fanatec and Thrustmaster in the potentially lucrative console hardware market.
Price and release date of the Revosim RS Pure for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the Revosim RS Pure are expected to launch before Christmas 2026, most likely in November, at a price of €849.90. Both versions will also be compatible with PC.
Unlike its counterpart intended exclusively for PC, the console versions of the RS Pure feature 10 Nm of direct-drive torque instead of 9 Nm. The package includes two pedals for brake and throttle, a table clamp, three RJ45 ports, a phone holder and Bluetooth connectivity.
Revosim's flagship bundle also includes a round 300-mm steering wheel with a quick-release system made of aluminum. This allows it to be replaced with alternative options. The equipment is complemented by twelve assignable buttons, a rotary encoder and a detachable hub to which additional wheel rims, such as the Aston Martin F1 wheel rim, can be mounted.
The pedals feature a 100-kg load cell designed to provide a more immersive gaming experience. Both the pedal set and the paddle shifters on the steering wheel are made of metal.
Price and release date of the Revosim RS Initiale for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
The RS Initiale, Revosim's mid-range model with a medium wheelbase, is scheduled to launch in November at a price of €549.90. Like the RS Pure and RS Lite, it will be available in separate versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Both versions can also be used on PC.
Like the other two steering wheel bundles, the RS Initiale will come with two pedals, a phone holder and a table clamp. The model delivers 6 Nm of torque, which is 1 Nm more than originally expected.
Further details about Nacon's Revosim steering wheel bundles are expected to be announced at a later date. The brand is expected to add more peripherals to its largely compatible product range in the future.
