Nacon not only publishes racing games such as “Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown” and “MXGP 26”, as well as the reboot of the WRC series announced for next year, but also develops hardware – including headsets and controllers. Its in-house brand Revosim also specializes in racing accessories, such as the RS Pure Direct-Drive steering wheel.
The French company has now unveiled the “Revolution 5 Unlimited”. According to the company, it is the first officially licensed PS5 controller with an integrated control screen.
Players can use this screen to adjust settings such as joystick sensitivity or the audio mix without having to pause the game. Button combinations can also be remapped individually. This can be helpful, for example, for temporarily adjusting steering sensitivity in PS5 racing games.
A switch on the back allows the triggers to be toggled between analog actuation, which enables more progressive acceleration and braking, and short clicks. In addition, “Shooter Pro” mode eliminates the joystick dead zones, which could also improve steering responsiveness in racing games.
Nacon's “Revolution 5 Unlimited” can be pre-ordered for €199.99 and is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2026. The package also includes a carrying case and a charging station.
“With the Revolution 5 Unlimited, Nacon is demonstrating its ability to set new standards in the gaming peripherals segment for competitive use,” explained Yannick Allaert, head of Nacon's accessories division.
“By combining an integrated control screen and TMR technology in an officially licensed, asymmetrical PlayStation controller, we are offering competitive and demanding players a state-of-the-art device based on many years of experience within the group.”
