The latest vehicle DLC pack for Project Motor Racing has been officially unveiled. The “V8 Power Pack” includes new vehicles as well as an additional race circuit.
The DLC pack, which will be released in September, expands the “V8 Evo”, “USV8” and “Historic USV8” categories with a total of nine V8 race cars. The selection ranges from Australian touring cars to classic American road racing cars.
The 2023 Ford Mustang AU and the 2023 Chevrolet Camaro AU expand the “V8 Evo” class. The 2022 Dodge Challenger TA/2, the 2022 Ford Mustang TA/2 and the 2022 Camaro TA/2 are added to the “USV8” class.
The selection is completed by the 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 TA, the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda TA, the 1970 AMC Javelin TA and the 1968 Camaro TA Z28 in the “Historic USV8” class.
In addition to the nine vehicles, the DLC pack includes a laser-scanned version of the Road Atlanta circuit, expanding the existing selection of tracks.
Prices have not yet been announced. However, the “V8 Power Pack” will be released on September 15.
Visitors to Gamescom will already have the opportunity to test the Lamborghini Temerario in Project Motor Racing in Hall 6 this week. The vehicle will be integrated into the game for free in September.
In addition, the sim racing title is hosting a competition in which participants are tasked with setting the fastest lap in a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4. The possible prizes include a die-cast model of the Spark Audi R8 LMP.
The announcement of the DLC pack follows several patch updates through which the sim racing title has been continuously improved since its difficult launch last year. Among other things, the latest update revised the driving physics of the Le Mans hypercars.
