- The 2021 McLaren Sabre will be credited to all players as a result of an issue in the online mode “Eliminator”.
- An exploit allowed players to accumulate enormous amounts of Credits in a very short time.
- The new “Series 2” update significantly increases players’ “Horizon Play” levels and also adjusts the handling of Drag Tires.
Playground Games has disabled Forza Horizon 6’s “Eliminator” mode until a hotfix is released. As compensation, all players will receive a 2021 McLaren Sabre, which will be provided with the hotfix.
Recently, an extraordinary and lucrative glitch was discovered that allowed players to earn up to 999,999,999 Credits. To do so, they used the “Eliminator” mode, which resembles the “Last Man Standing” mode, and combined it with several additional manipulative steps.
“We are currently planning to reintroduce ‘The Eliminator’ in #ForzaHorizon6 as soon as possible as part of a hotfix. In addition, as a gesture of goodwill, we will provide all players with the 2021 McLaren Sabre alongside the hotfix. We have created the following FAQ with further details: …”
Players who exploited this glitch will apparently have the inflated balances earned this way removed. Their balances are expected to be reset to a maximum of 10 million Credits. Interestingly, some players attempted to “launder” their illegitimately acquired Credits by purchasing vehicles and then reselling them through auctions, adding another remarkable dimension to the matter.
It has not yet been determined when the “Eliminator” mode will be available again in Forza Horizon 6. However, once it is, players can claim their new McLaren through the game’s message center in the “Gifts” tab.
Forza Horizon 6 Season 2 Update Patch Notes
With the release of Season 2, a new update for Forza Horizon 6 has also been released, featuring a range of bug fixes and optimizations.
In particular, Playground Games has significantly adjusted the experience (XP) required for progress in “Horizon Play”. Players at Level 25 and above will notice a substantial jump in their rank. For example, all players who have reached Level 32 will automatically be raised to Level 100.
In addition, the performance of Drag Tires has been reduced. Until now, they lowered a vehicle’s Performance Index (PI) while still providing enough grip to be used in other events, giving players a noticeable tuning advantage.
Since specially tuned Drag Tires are practically useless in corners in real-world scenarios, changes have now been made to represent this characteristic more realistically in the game.

Upgrades & Tuning
- Adjustments have been made to the physics of Drag Tires to align them more with their expected behaviour.
- Developer Notes:
The team noticed that Drag tires were reducing Performance Index (PI) significantly while still providing enough lateral grip to work effectively as a tire choice for several event types outside of Drag Racing. This is not the expected behaviour or use case for Drag Tires. To alleviate this issue, we have made some adjustments that ensure Drag Tires are no longer the optimal tire choice outside of drag racing events.
Additionally, we have retained the PI cost of Drag Tires, meaning any tune that currently exists, for example, a tune that is A 700 will not change PI, but it will have significantly reduced cornering performance.
The team are aware that this means there are a lot of Leaderboard entries that will need to be removed. This will be an ongoing process as we work to identify and remove any lap times that were set using Drag Tires prior to this patch.
It is important to note that this change only affects the cornering performance of Drag Tires, so Drag times and Drag Leaderboards will be unaffected by this change.
