Last month, RENNSPORT presented a comprehensive roadmap for 2026, providing a preview of the updates planned for the coming months. The first major update and the DLC were originally scheduled for March.
This plan has since changed: A post on social media confirms that the first free update and the “Endurance Classics” DLC are now scheduled for April.
According to the social media post, the delay is due to the developer having to complete the logistical preparations for the transition to self-publishing on consoles following its split from Nacon, which released the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions last year.
A specific release date for the free update and the DLC will be announced in April. According to the developer, however, the content is already complete and the patch has been created.
The free update will add the Hyundai N Vision 74 as well as three new tracks: the Kuala Lumpur Street Circuit, the short layout of Road Atlanta, and Fuji Speedway (short layout). In addition, updated single-player championships with asynchronous leaderboards will be introduced, awarding points for speed, position, and precision.
In addition to the free update, RENNSPORT’s first premium car and track pack will also be released: The “Endurance Classics Part 1” DLC includes the Porsche 911 GT1, the Mercedes-Benz CLK LM, the Porsche 956, the Peugeot 9X9 EVO, and the Circuit de la Sarthe.
The revised roadmap means that the free update originally planned for April will now be released in May. This update will include the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 as well as two tracks, Laguna Seca and Sebring International Raceway.
The “Touring Classics Part 1” DLC originally planned for May will now be released in June and includes the “Hockenheimring Classic” race track as well as four cars: the Alfa Romeo 155 V8 TI, the Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 EVO II, the BMW M3 E30, and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class V8.
In the same month, a free update will add two as-yet-unannounced tracks, a new car, and new single-player championships. The improvements to the often-criticized single-player AI originally scheduled for May will now be delivered in June.
Another previously unannounced premium DLC pack and a free update are planned for September; the update will contain a still-unknown new track and additional single-player championships.
