With this update, developer Polyphony Digital adds both classic racing cars and modern vehicle models while also expanding the range of available racing events.
Three new vehicles in the game
Among the newly introduced vehicles is the Mazda ɛ̃fini RX-7 Type R (FD) ’91, an iconic Japanese sports car from the 1990s. The third-generation RX-7 model is known for its rotary engine and complex sequential twin-turbo system.
With a revised 13B rotary engine, the vehicle produces around 255 hp and was considered one of the most powerful models in the RX-7 series at the time.
Also new to the game is the Chevrolet Camaro 1969 Race-Mod, a modern restomod version of the classic Camaro Z28. This vehicle combines the design of the historic Trans-Am race car with modern technology and a supercharged V8 engine producing 667 hp.
The third newly introduced vehicle is the Renault Captur S Edition TCe 140 ’21, a compact crossover SUV. This versatile all-rounder combines city-friendly dimensions with modern comfort and hybrid technologies.
In addition to the new vehicles, update v1.68 also expands the Gran Turismo 7 racing calendar. Four additional events have been added to World Circuits:
