- The Fuji Speedway “GP Circuit with Shortcut” layout will be integrated into RENNSPORT.
- The Kuala Lumpur Street Circuit and the Road Atlanta Short Course will be added as part of the same free update.
- Additional track variants are currently in development.
The Fuji Speedway “GP Circuit with Shortcut” layout will be part of RENNSPORT's next content update, as officially announced today.
In addition to the previously announced Kuala Lumpur Street Circuit and Road Atlanta Short Course, the Japanese track will be introduced in the simulation's next free update. The first paid DLC pack for RENNSPORT, “Endurance Classics Part 1,” is also expected to be released at the same time.
The Fuji Grand Prix course is 4.55 km long and has undergone several modifications since it opened in 1965. In its early days, the steep turn at the first corner was controversial and considered dangerous. However, there are no such concerns with the modern versions of the Fuji circuit.
The shortcut layout differs only slightly from the GP course and is 4.53 km long, effectively bypassing the slow chicane between Turns 10 and 12 to allow for a smoother lap. Future RENNSPORT updates are expected to introduce additional alternative track configurations for other circuits.
An exact release date for the game's new tracks has not yet been announced; however, they are believed to be arriving alongside the postponed “Endurance Classics Part 1” DLC. This DLC will include the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit, the Circuit de la Sarthe, the Group C Porsche 956, as well as the Mercedes-Benz CLK LM and Porsche 911 GT1 challengers.
The DLC was originally scheduled for release in December 2025, but was postponed to address some of the issues players had encountered since the game's rocky launch a month earlier.
