- The introduction of alternative track layouts in RENNSPORT is imminent.
- Road Atlanta's Short Circuit will be the first layout to be made available.
- The release date has yet to be confirmed.
RENNSPORT recently announced that it will begin implementing alternative track layouts.
The process will begin with the Short Course variant of Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, with RENNSPORT planning to add numerous configurations of existing racetracks in future updates.
This could mean that players can also expect variants such as Hockenheim's short course, Monza's Junior Course, as well as the Sprint Course and Müllenbachschleife at the Nürburgring.
Alternatively, the Nordschleife, the larger sister track of the circuit in the Eifel, could receive a tourist driving layout, as has recently been seen in Automobilista 2 and Assetto Corsa EVO.
Road Atlanta's Short Course removes Turns 6 through 8 of the main Grand Prix circuit, eliminating two of the track's slower corners. While the most exciting sections of the circuit in Georgia remain, overtaking opportunities are limited due to the shortening of the long straights.
The game's first DLC package is expected to be released in February. “Endurance Classics Part 1” will include the 24-hour circuit layout of Le Mans, the Group C Porsche 956, as well as the Mercedes-Benz CLK LM and Porsche 911 GT1.
The DLC was originally scheduled for release in December 2025. However, the team behind RENNSPORT postponed the release date to fix some of the numerous issues players had faced since the game's troubled launch one month earlier.
