Fanatec has unveiled the new ClubSport V4 pedal set, which features a completely redesigned layout inspired by the flagship “Podium” series. Notably, this is the first fundamental redesign of the ClubSport pedals in 18 years.
The three-pedal set currently on display at the SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt includes a brake pedal with a LoadCell, an accelerator pedal with independently adjustable travel, and a clutch pedal with an adjustable bite point. The all-metal construction combines cast aluminum, CNC-machined aluminum, and steel components.
The ClubSport V4 uses various components from the Podium pedals, including the bearings and Hall sensors, but has a more compact design. The design also includes a distinctive “cup” shape for the brake pedal.
Unlike the Podium pedals, the pedal plates are fixed in place and cannot be individually adjusted for their travel. However, the springs and elastomers can be replaced. Various elastomers are already included, allowing resistance and preload to be adjusted individually. According to Fanatec, the LoadCell measures a force of “around 180+ kg”, while a force of 110 kg at the pedal plate is targeted.
Visitors to the SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt will have the opportunity to test a pre-production version of Fanatec's ClubSport V4 pedals from October 16 to 18, ahead of their market launch.
A specific release date has not yet been announced. However, Fanatec is targeting a market launch in 2027. The same applies to the “Project Obsidian” steering wheel, which was unveiled at the same event.
