Wie bei den vorherigen Patches werden hauptsächlich die bereits in der Steam Early Access-Version enthaltenen Fehler behoben, anstatt neue Inhalte und Funktionen hinzuzufügen. Und es gibt einen Hinweis, dass einige Benutzer FFB-Probleme haben, die versuchen sollten, den ffb-pub Steam Beta-Zweig zu verwenden, der eine experimentelle Konfiguration hat, die hoffentlich die Force-Feedback-Probleme behebt.
Patch 3 fügt eine Einstellung für die maximale Bildrate hinzu, entfernt die Tastenkombinationen für den Fahrassistenten, damit man sie nicht auf halber Strecke einer Runde missbrauchen kann, und standardisiert das Force-Feedback für alle Fahrzeuge, wobei Probleme mit invertierten Einstellungen behoben werden. Außerdem gibt es Lösungen für einen möglichen Absturz beim Beitritt zu Online-Sitzungen und Trainingsservern sowie eine Reihe von Verbesserungen und Updates für einzelne Fahrzeuge und Strecken.
