The first version of the Eifel Free Roam mode will be released with the update to version 0.10.

In this mode, players can explore the Eifel region around the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. It forms a central part of EVO’s release.

The mode was already hinted at in the first trailers for the sim racing title and officially unveiled a short time later. A highly detailed recreation of the German region is expected, which can be explored in both single-player and multiplayer modes. This is intended to apply to both on-road and off-road routes. In addition, NPC traffic is planned, which is expected to feature scalable difficulty levels.

The latest update for EVO so far, version 0.90, was released nearly a month ago, at the end of August. Version 0.8 was released in July, while version 0.7, which introduced modding support, was released in June.

A specific release date for version 0.10 has not yet been set. However, it is possible that the update will arrive as early as October 2026.

For clarification, it should be noted that the Free Roam feature is not initially expected to be fully available. The plan is to expand the playable area and feature set over time, presumably as part of the Early Access phase.

The official statement reads: “The first version of the Eifel Free Roam mode will be released as part of update 0.10 for Assetto Corsa EVO.”
