With the HMA150, Moza Racing is expanding its portfolio for the first time with a solution for motion sim racing.
The HMA150 haptic motion actuator has been available since July 28, 2026, and is offered as a set of four actuators for a price of €3,199.
It is expressly not a complete sim-racing solution including a seat and cockpit.
Instead, the package includes four motion actuators that can be retrofitted into an existing sim-racing rig. They generate dynamic movements to increase immersion during the driving experience.
The four-axis system was first presented in March at GDC in San Francisco. It is designed to simulate pitch, roll, and heave movements with a travel distance of 150 mm and response speeds of up to 300 mm/s. An integrated controller and an emergency stop switch are also included.
According to Moza, the servo motors, control algorithms, construction, and software were developed in-house.
The Moza Motion Manager software enables individual adjustment of various parameters, including vibration effects, range of motion, intensity, and individual motion axes.
Two AI-powered software features
In addition, the AI Motion feature is available. It analyzes a game's graphics and audio to generate motion data for titles that do not offer native telemetry support. This is intended to enable a motion experience even in games that do not directly support such systems.
Moza explicitly points out that the solution is intended to complement native systems, not replace them.
The Moza AI Coach is also available through the Moza Pit House software, which is used to control components such as steering wheels, wheel bases, and pedals. It enables users to compare data and provides guidance on various driving techniques to help optimize lap times.
The motion system, the Motion Manager software, and the AI Coach in the Pit House software have been available since July 28. The release coincides with the market launch of the updated R5 Pro and R16 Ultra wheel bases.
