A sim racing replica of the Ford Mustang GTD's steering wheel is set to be unveiled shortly.
The teaser image released by Moza Racing shows a partially round steering wheel with apparently blue stitching, which is likely inspired by the colors of Ford Racing.
A centering stripe is attached to the top of the steering wheel rim. The center console features the distinctive logo with the galloping wild horse as well as the designation “GTD,” which is not used on the steering wheel of the actual vehicle. It is not yet clear how the steering wheel's buttons will be replicated or what the design of the paddle shifters will look like.
The steering wheel comes from the fastest production Mustang ever, an evolution of the muscle car designed specifically to improve lap times – particularly on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
The Chinese manufacturer has consistently expanded its range of licensed products for real vehicles in recent years.
Last year, the company presented a round prototype at Gamescom modeled after the Porsche 911 GT3 and also developed a “Mission R” device. In addition, Moza Racing confirmed a partnership with Mercedes-AMG at the same event. However, twelve months later, no concrete products have emerged from it yet.
The Ford Mustang GTD steering wheel will be presented at this year's event in Cologne, which begins on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. A MotoGP-supported motorcycle simulator is also scheduled to be presented there for the first time.
