- Project Motor Racing’s “GT Icons Pack” DLC includes nine historic vehicles and a new race track.
- The new content can be tried out at the SimRacing Expo in Charlotte this weekend.
Project Motor Racing’s next DLC pack will be available for visitors to test at the SimRacing Expo in Charlotte this weekend.
The “GT Icons Pack” DLC will include several race cars from the 1960s and 1970s as well as a new track, and is scheduled to go on general sale on June 23, 2026.
The impressive selection of vehicles includes the winged Chaparral 2F, a car developed by renowned driver and constructor Jim Hall, as well as other 1960s classics such as the Shelby Daytona Coupé, the Lola T70 Mk 3 and the Ford Mk.IV.
From the 1970s, the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0, the Chevrolet Corvette C3 and the Ford Capri RS3100 will be integrated into the game. All nine vehicles are distributed across the GT 70, Sports Car 67 and GT 60 classes.
The new track, Rocky Knoll Raceway, offers two layouts and, according to the screenshots released in advance, bears a strong resemblance to Road America, fitting with Project Motor Racing’s well-known preference for unlicensed track locations.
The game’s previous DLC, the “Japanese GT500 DLC”, was withdrawn from sale under controversial circumstances before being re-released in revised form as the “Japanese Prototypes Pack”. This unpleasant episode was apparently related to licensing issues, which is why the development team is keen to avoid similar problems when releasing the next DLC pack.
