ACE | The Audi R8 GT4 Evo completes Assetto Corsa EVO's vehicle lineup in version 0.6

The Audi R8 LMS GT4 Evo will be introduced with the version 0.6 update for Assetto Corsa Evo. Six cars and one race track have now been officially confirmed.
  • The Audi R8 LMS GT4 Evo expands the content offering of Assetto Corsa Evo v0.6.
  • A new game update is also in the works.
  • The release of version 0.6 is expected to be accompanied by a two-day server outage.

The content offering for Assetto Corsa EVO v0.6 has now been confirmed in full. The changelog for the new version indicates that the Audi R8 LMS GT4 Evo will be integrated into the simulation.

Kunos Simulazioni had previously hinted at the introduction of the Ferrari 288 GTO, the Ferrari 296 GT3, the Ford Mustang GT3, the Lamborghini Countach LP5000 Quattrovalvole and the Porsche 911 GT3 R Rennsport. The Sebring International Raceway is the only confirmed track, and Audi's latest GT4 challenger now completes the package.

The GT4 Audi was already made available to motorsport customers ahead of the 2020 season and recently achieved success in the SRO-organized GT4 European Series, where it won the 2025 Silver Cup together with Robert Consani and Benjamin Lariche.

Powered by the company's distinctive 5.2-liter V10 engine, the Audi GT4 is largely based on the road-going version, but offers components and adjustment options geared more toward racing. Compared with its GT3 counterpart, however, the vehicle is less powerful, as it features lower aerodynamic efficiency and reduced power.

Audi has since withdrawn from officially supporting its GT racing programs and is instead focusing on its still-young Formula 1 project, although the company has assured that it will supply its customers with official parts through 2032.

In addition to the new content, a comprehensive update for Assetto Corsa Evo is planned, which will include a revised version of the Nürburgring Nordschleife from 2026 as well as improvements to the AI, user interface and physics.

According to developer Kunos Simulazioni, the Assetto Corsa Evo servers will be unreachable over the next two days. After that period, the update should be available to all players.
