- Price adjustment of the Fanatec CSL DD QR1 (5 Nm) to €200
- Optional upgrade with QR2 and CSL Boost Kit 180 for 8 Nm of torque
Fanatec has lowered the price of its CSL DD QR1 Wheelbase to an all-time low as the company from Landshut begins phasing its older quick-release models out of its range.
A limited quantity of the CSL DD QR1 (5 Nm) is currently available for just €200, including a three-year warranty and PC compatibility (the CSL DD is also Xbox-compatible if a compatible steering wheel is connected).
The CSL DD was introduced in October 2021 and represented a cost-effective alternative to other direct-drive wheelbases available at the time. It was launched with 5 Nm of torque, which can be upgraded to 8 Nm, and initially came with Fanatec's older, less reliable QR1 quick-release system.
The QR1 system was replaced by the improved and more reliable QR2 system in 2023, with most new Fanatec wheelbases (and steering wheels) having been equipped with this latest model ever since.
Customers have the option to upgrade for an additional €60 for the QR2 system and €99.95 for the 8 Nm power supply.
